Job Description
- Design, develop, and maintain applications and customizations on the ERP-ONE (Distribution One) platform using Progress OpenEdge (4GL).
- Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end users to gather and validate technical requirements for distribution and ERP workflows.
- Implement enhancements, interfaces, and reports to support order management, inventory, purchasing, and other distribution processes.
- Optimize existing Progress OpenEdge code for performance and maintainability.
Skills and Experience Required
- Strong hands on Progress OpenEdge (Progress 4GL) development
- Practical experience with Distribution One, ERP-ONE, or similar distribution focused ERP systems
- Solid understanding of ERP concepts such as order to cash, procure to pay, inventory, and warehouse operations
- Database design and programming within the Progress OpenEdge environment
- Developing interfaces, reports, and batch processes for ERP applications
