5× less effort moved 102 PlusPortals screens to .NET 10
As Rediker Software's delivery partner, Artizent paired one developer with Claude Code to rebuild the PlusPortals Mobile application on .NET 10. The team preserved the established feature set while creating a leaner, maintainable foundation for branded Android and iOS apps.
The Opportunity
Rediker Software needed more than a routine framework upgrade, it needed a modernization strategy built for the future. Its .NET 8 MAUI application depended on paid Telerik controls, while 97 source files were tightly coupled to third-party libraries and native dependencies, creating a major roadblock to Android’s 16 KB page size requirement.
Artizent transformed this challenge into an opportunity to modernize the product from the ground up, preserving critical business rules and cross-platform capabilities while removing dependency constraints. The result is a more maintainable, future-ready application architecture that enables Rediker Software to efficiently support and release multiple branded apps without compromising functionality or user experience.
The Transformation
Artizent turned the legacy application into a measured specification, established a written architecture contract and used Claude Code to accelerate delivery behind explicit human review and build gates.
The Legacy App Became a Measured Specification
Claude Code helped inventory 109 UI surfaces, 97 API endpoints and 23 functional modules. In three active days, Artizent produced 10,325 lines of analysis that made hidden dependencies, user flows and migration risk visible before implementation began.
Architecture Rules Kept Every Build Consistent
Artizent codified 49 architecture rules, 24 UI rules and shared theme tokens before scaling delivery. The written contract gave Claude Code clear boundaries and kept 1,055 files structurally consistent across the rebuilt application.
Human-Gated Delivery Protected Behavior
A developer reviewed and amended all 22 module specifications before code generation, made the final calls on ambiguous behavior and verified flows on physical devices. Provisioning, signing, environment issues and release decisions remained human led.
Parallel Delivery Rebuilt the Full Mobile Stack
Artizent implemented the 97-endpoint API layer in six days and rebuilt 102 screens, views and popups across 22 modules in 11 days. Automated gates checked four Android configurations plus iOS as multitenant delivery, push notifications and platform compliance progressed in parallel.
Less effort than the report's comparable manual baseline for the same scope
Views and popups rebuilt across 22 completed migration modules
Endpoints upgraded and validated across Android and iOS, ensuring consistent and reliable behavior across platforms.
Approximately 46,100 lines delivered for the same feature set, down from roughly 63,700
A blocked mobile stack became a leaner, store-ready .NET 10 platform—with human judgement built into every module.
